The DJM-250 is a compact size 2-channel mixer for Home DJs which allows enjoyment of authentic DJing including song arranging and mixing in response to the needs of entry level DJs who want to try DJing or professional style DJ play.

Like high-end professional DJ mixers*1, features an industry-first*2 filter*3 effects for a 2-channel mixer that can be manually applied to each channel, and by combining fader operation and EQ effects a wide variety of song arranging and mixing possibilities can be realized. It is also equipped with an abundance of inputs so it can be connected not only to DJ equipment, but also to PCs, portable players, TV, etc. and used as a preamp. Additionally, since it is equipped with XLR balanced output, DJing can be enjoyed with minimum quality loss of the input audio signal.

A Sound Color Filter function that enables a variety of song arranging and mixing
The manual filter function employed on each channel of Pioneer's high-end equipment has been included as the Sound Color Filter function. Filter effects can be adjusted by simply turning a large knob, enabling dynamic and intuitive song arranging. Also, since filter effects can be added independently to the songs on each channel, a variety of mixing possibilities can be realized by combining fader operation and EQ effects. Additionally, as changes to the sound realized by operating the knob are displayed with color and blinking lights, intuitive DJing that pleases both the eyes and ears can be performed.

Equipped with 8 input paths for connectivity with a variety of devices
While having a compact size, the DJM-250-K/DJM-250-W is equipped with 8 input paths (4 DJ multi-player and analog turntable input paths, 3 AUX input paths, and 1 MIC input path). In addition to DJ equipment, it can therefore be connected to a variety of devices such as a PC, portable player, TV, or synthesizer and be used as a preamp.

Equipped with XLR balanced output to prevent audio signal quality loss
Equipped with XLR balanced outputs, the DJM-250-K/DJM-250-W outputs clear sound with minimum loss of quality degradation of the input audio signal. Additionally, connection is possible to XLR input compatible devices such as powered speakers without an adapter.

Other features:

    * Compatible with 48 kHz/24-bit full digital processing that allows DJing enjoyment with clear sound quality.
    * Each channel is equipped with a 3-band isolator type equalizer allowing wide level control of +9dB to -∞ (cut) each for HI/MID/LOW bands.
    * Fader Start Play function that begins playback on connected Pioneer DJ players linked with fader operation.*4
    * Peak level meter for displaying audio input level on each channel.
    * Cross Fader Curve Adjust function that allows switching between 3 patterns of cross fader curves.
    * Rack mount ears for embedded installation into a DJ table or DJ rack.
