History & Profile DJ Mark Eon

Mark West as he is better known to his family and friends was born in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, in the heart of the UK in 1982.



Mark's life since the age of 14 was always about one thing, music. Mark has been so close to it ever since he first heard "love of my life" on a hardcore mixtape he "borrowed" from his sister in 1996. Mark later spent near on 3 years trying to find the track again so he could make it up to his sister as he accidentally recorded over it whilst making a drum and bass mixtape in his bedroom. Mark's passion for music is massive and keeps growing stronger, never a day goes by without the sound of a loud kickdrum and a 20Hz Hum.



The Eon dynasty began back in 1997 at the age of 15, playing Hardcore and Drum & Bass.

Eon's influences have stemmed from his extensive experience in House, NRG, Trance, Techno Hard Trance, Breakbeat, Drum & Bass & UK Hardcore. In 1999, Mark found his finger firmly planted on the pulse of hard dance. When the hard dance scene was requesting new upcoming leaders, Mark stood to the front line and pushed himself into the new millennium as one of the future breed. In 2005 Mark Eon diversified and became more involved with the house music scene, playing from Soulful and Funky house to his favourite hard edge, high energy, Pumping Electro. Mark's club sound is Upfront, Pumping and Uplifting for those who love there music with high energy and massive vocals thrown in.



Now in his 10 th year and at the age of only 25, mark has achieved a lot in his time and marks play, dedication and passion for the music he plays always shines through in his manner and performance proving to all he is up there with the best of them.



Mentored by the legendary Dance music pioneer DJ Sharkey, Mark has ties with the Nu-Energy Collective in London & System 6 in Australia . Now with a decade of DJ experience taking him from the UK to Australia , Indonesia and back again. Mark Eon has cemented himself as one of the upcoming front-runners in the UK dance experience. Working along side some of the biggest names in the dance music industry, Mark has separated himself from the status quo with a mixing ability which is second to none and a stage presence like no other. Mark Eon is continuing to sell himself to the worldwide rave audience as a force to be reckoned with.



Mark has had numerous live appearances in the U.K at the infamous Hysteria Rave's, Slammin Vinyl & Flashback, Critical Mass in Australia and in December 2006, Mark was the first international DJ on the island of Lombok in Indonesia .



With his feet firmly planted in clubs and raves around the world, Mark Eon is ready to pounce on the turntables, raise the roof and rock the dance floor.........................................



Since January 2007 Mark has had many other appearances in Jakarta , Indonesia , at the legendary Musro, Vertigo, Flo Lounge, Wonder Bar & Mezza 9 to name just a few but most famously to date @ Embassy Club, Jakarta where he covered the late cancellation of UK act Groove Armada.



In 2007 Mark has had 2 TV appearances on Paranoia / O channel and Jak TV, Jakarta . O Channel covering mark's set at Embassy Club and Jak TV Covering the Grand opening of Club 8.



For the past 4 years Mark Eon has been working hard individually in the studio creating his own style of music, his experience in hardcore and breakbeat run through his productions, hard, solid beats, big rolling bass and chopped up breakdowns with a twist of trance give the crowd something very different and something to get really excited about. previously producing UK hardcore at a tempo of 170 bpm mark now turns his hand to writing pumping electro at a moderate 133bpm. Mark utilises a fully digital studio set up doing away with standard outboard like in most common studio's and also uses a mobile studio set up to continue his production when away from the UK.



With an albums worth of original music already receiving play on the club circuit, mark will soon be releasing this to the public and will first be made available on www.EON-DJ.com through Mark's label imprint - EDJ Digital.

kalo ngeliat dari nama eventnya sih kayanya doi mainnya kenceng..

hard dance bisa dibilang suate sub-genre dari EDM yang memayungi genre2 dibawahnya seperti hard trance, hard house, hard-NRG, Nu-NRG, Gabba dll yang populer di europe, Italy, australia...

sedangkan hardstyle kadang juga bisa diartikan sebagai hard trance ato hardbass, yang biasanya ngandalin bass line yang mirip2 Gabba, temponya sendiri berkisar 140-150 bpm.
