New Color "CDJ-850 Solid Black" & "CDJ-350 Metallic Silver"

Singapore, 30 November 2011 - Pioneer will launch the solid black "CDJ-850-K" model as a new color variation of the "CDJ-850" (released in August 2010) and the metallic silver "CDJ-350-S" model as a new color variation of the "CDJ-350" (released June 2010).

The "CDJ-850" is highly rated as a model for home DJs, inheriting the excellent operability of the Professional series, while the "CDJ-350" is popular as an entry-level model enabling users to enjoy genuine DJ performance in an uncomplicated manner. The addition of a black model of the "CDJ-850" (previously available only in silver) and a silver model of the "CDJ-350" (previously available only in black/white) will provide greater choice and enable the selection of colors to match users' sensibilities and interiors, etc., so that all users can enjoy DJ life in harmony with their individual style.



Main features of CDJ-850-K
1) Adopts same black color as Professional model
The body of the CDJ-850-K adopts the same black color as Pioneer's high-end "CDJ-2000" model. Users can enjoy DJ play with a DJ system designed on the basis of the same black used for the Professional model, which is used by many pro DJs.

2) Inherits excellent operability of Professional series
The CDJ-850-K adopts the layout of the Professional series, which has excellent operability, featuring a large 206mm-diameter jog dial, etc.

3) Support for various media and music formats
DJ play can be enjoyed using music CDs, and various music formats*1 recorded on mass storage USB devices*2 or CD-R/RW.

4) Includes "rekordboxTM" music management software to support your DJ life
Installing the included "rekordboxTM" on your PC and analyzing music files enables music management in a style that is suitable for DJ play.

5) Usable as DJ software controller and sound card
USB MIDI/HID controls are supported, and various DJ software can be controlled by connecting with your PC. The CDJ-850-K can also be used as a sound card.

6) Diverse range of displays implementing quick song selection
Quick song selection is provided through the combination of an easy-to-understand GUI showing music file information such as song titles, artist names, BPM, etc. and an easy-to-operate rotating selector. Additionally, a "WAVE" display enables the user to understand the flow and strength of the whole song.
