What is "SOLID HOUSE"...?
In the past 10 years, Jakarta's electronic dance music scene has experienced a significant growth. The ever increasing demand from Indonesian clubbers for an unconditional electronic dance music experience, numerous amounts of clubs opening, as well as emerging Labels & DJ Management providing us with new experiences of electronic dance music in Indonesia.
The electronic music subgenre in Indonesia is at its peak in diversity. There has never been a better time or opportunity to receive the knowledge of many varieties in electronic sounds; especially in house music.
A group of people that has the same concern and same intention, brainstormed to form a community called Solid House. This group of people with different backgrounds in life, music, experiences and specialties joined forces to create a new community in the dance music scene in Indonesia. The people behind it have also been involved in the electronic dance music industry for quite some time, responsible for some of the well known nights at local clubs or other bigger events. Their aim is to trigger the movement in the Indonesian house music industry.
Also, as a collective of house heads, Solid House would like to provide a platform for those who want a more intimate experience with a selection of: Soulful House, Deep House, Jazzy House, Funky House, Jackin' House, Afro-Latin House music.
