AONYX

Aonyx cinerea, also known as Oriental Small-clawed Otter, is the smallest otter species in the world. Due to ongoing habitat loss, pollution and hunting in some areas, the Aonyx cinerea is evaluated as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. Aonyx cinerea can be found in Indonesia, as one of their habitant.

That’s where the name of AONYX comes from. Oscar Erdiansyah, Jayarindra Sigit, Fadil Pinandita, Irsan Ramadhan and Anissa Nuradi formed AONYX as one of the rarest artists and musician’s management from Indonesia.

The sound of AONYX is a combination of various electronic music genre – House, Electro, Acid, New Wave, Techno, Alternative, Progressive and Trance. AONYX, as electronic musician management, is focused on producing original sounds and records that can catch the ears of all the music lover. And on live events, AONYX’s talents are focused in DJ and Live Set performances.

With this one of a kind concept and originality, AONYX will strive its best efforts to maintain AONYX’s and INDONESIA’s existence and stability in International Electronic Dance Music (EDM) World.

Fadil Pinandita and Irsan Ramadhan were met in the middle of the year 2008. It was the same visions in music that inspired the two of them to join forces in early 2009 as [Astral Escalation].
Having world class DJs such as Above & Beyond; Kyau & Albert; Gareth Emery; Rank1; Super8 & Tab; DJ Shah; Milton Channel; Jerome Isma-Ae; Steve Angello; and EDX as influences and also Riri Mestica; DJ Bone; DJ Adhe; DJ Kono; DJ Marwan; Delizious Devina and LTN ,as their respected seniors and mentors, made their music’s rich and surely will heat up everyone in the world.
Even though trance is their basic genre, [Astral Escalation] also bring the crowds to fully experience house, techno and progressive sounds.
With their music and performances, it won’t be long for [Astral Escalation] to be one of top rank DJ in the future.

AYDRA & OSCAR
This Indonesian underground group -- DJ and Producer of Electricyouth -- was formed in Jakarta in late 2005 by Jayarindra Sigit and Oscar Erdiansyah (also known as Aydra and Oscar).
After their high school graduation in early 2005, Aydra left to Singapore while Oscar started his solo DJ career and his side project (non EDM project) in Jakarta. When in late 2005 Aydra went back to Jakarta for a couple of weeks, they started to compose some tunes in Oscar's room.
Afterwards, they started an EDM group called Electricyouth. This group combined the elements of various genres -- Electro, Acid, New Waves, Tech, Alternative and electronic vibes -- to form the hottest beats and melodies in modern Electronic Dance Music. In 2007, due to the similarity of name to another group, the name Electricyouth was no longer used. It becomes Aydra&Oscar since then. They release their first track called "Against Racism" in January 2007.
Now, with Aydra, who just come back from Singapore, Aydra&Oscar continues to produce more records and perform live again.
