f I had to give an award for the most epic mix tape of all time it would go to Jeno for Bang The Drum hands down. The way Bang The Drum is put together is awe inspiring. Especially the last 20 minutes of Side B which takes you for a ride you will never forget.
Jeno absolutely kills it for 90 straight minutes as you can feel his energy through the entire mix. I recently saw Jeno and Garth playing at their back 2 back party in LA. I was kind of disappointed. Yeah I can get into the stoner rock groove but these guys have the dopest records and the dopest style around. They could do something a lot cooler with the hours they are spending behind the decks together. When will we see the return of the old wicked sound for that matter when will we see the return of dope house music. It seems so stagnant right now. First everyone wanted to be electro now that has passed and everyone wants to be techy. The computer element has taken so much of the emotion of out production these days enabling just about anyone with half a brain to make a track. And with the low costs associated with making a track available for download instead of pressing up vinyl I think we will see more and more of these unoriginal biters. The time of the whitelabel has passed I will miss it.

My favorite mixtape all the time.. gw punya kasetnya nih sm mixtape jeno yg Rise.. tp skrg udh lapuk ga bisa di puter ;D
