Silvia Rocca was born in Turin, Italy on the 18th of February 1973. She is a journalist and model, sister to the actress, Stefania Rocca. At the age of fourteen, she participated in the beauty contest, "The Look of the Year", where she was classified under the last three contestants. She paraded through fame working for famous Italian stylists such as Armani, Versace, Ferrè, Genny, Krizia, and Rocco Barocco.

She began her work as a journalist occupying herself writing editorials for a number of fashion magazines. Her passions are mountain biking, river rafting, water skiing and teaching spinning and modern dance.

Silvia Rocca has been known especially for her "music without veil" when this past year she made up her one of a kind, unique activity: The DJ Striptease...! As she easily changes the song records controlling the musical atmosphere, the curious crowd glues to the dance floor just to get a glimpse of the topless-striptease-DJ-model-author...

Silvia has also taken part as the protagonist in the comedy, "xes in the City",
a live show inspired by the all-American television series,
xes in the City, that showed in theaters throughout all of Italy in a three month period.
