About me:

DJ Timothy Raw was born on the 9th of June 1988 in Amsterdam. When he started high school, his affection for Electronical music got bigger and bigger. After downloading a lot of sets from the internet and just listening to it, he started playing some records with a high school friend.

It wasn't until his first raveparty before he bought a pair of secondhand turntables himself and aspired to become a Dj. Starting off with records from labels like Recyclep Loops and Drumcode, he started to develop himself as a Dj. After a year he got his first gigs in some local clubs and cafes in his hometown Hilversum. Through these first gigs he got in touch with an organization called Blue-Eyez. This organization arranged parties in his hometown in the venue Gooiland. He played for Blue Eyez several times in parties called 'Hil Bot', 'Lust' and 'Sick' with djs alongside like Fedde Le Grand and Erick E.

His style changed over the months from the more harder techno which he started with, to the more subtle electro/minimal tech. In the end of 2005 there was a dj contest called Evergreen, hosted by a local dj and Radiobroadcast Deepfm. After signing in, he eventually won and played in Deepfm's Radioshow called 'Protechnive'.
After that things started to go well for him. He got more gigs in Holland and he even performed outside his home country in for example the Bar Americain in Mimizan, France.
In the end of 2006 he participated in one of Hollands biggest Dj contests called 'The Twstd contest'. After winning the first three rounds, he had to stop because he was already planning a trip around the world. Now he's back in holland after 7months, and during his trip he had gigs in Thailand, Laos, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Having a lot of good reactions from the local crowd, he was invited to come back to Asia more than once and he spinned in countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia. This upcoming talent is only 19 years old, and there is still a lot more to come so watch this guy!
